Gcc Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the performance and maintenance of the air conditioning system electrical and water reticulation, compressors, fire detection systems, autoclaves and packing equipment and making the necessary reports.Participate in annual budgeting activities.Ensure sufficient supply of spare parts whilst maintaining low stock levels.Analyze machine utilization and suggest improvement measures using the SPC method.Maintain an effective and efficient administration system.Identify risk and implement corrective measures.Assist in developing world-class performance concepts through continuous improvement and the SPC system.Liaise with outside authorities on issues affecting the department (municipality, suppliers, consultants, and government departments).Ensure that buildings and facilities are timeously maintained.Ensure compliance with OHS Act measures to limit accidents and incidents.Manage apprentice training according to the apprentice training program and facilitate training initiatives.Facilitate technical training for artisans and mechanics employees.Deal with training agencies to book training courses and receive updates on progress.Use SPC to establish and report on machine differences and be involved in eliminating these.Perform cost analysis and report cost trends and recommend improvements.Minimum RequirementsQualified Electrical Engineer (Diploma/ Degree)
