Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Agriculture, Logistics, International Trade or similarAt least 2 years fruit industry experienceProduce Linc experienceBusiness Central experience Duties and Responsibilities:Provide a 4 week rolling plan to freight forwarders for vessel and shipment planningSet up pack plan master with commercial team in order to create a demand plan for suppliersAllocate stock according to fruit traders instruction and provide shipping instruction to all relevant partiesExpedite cargo delivery to customerProvide input to the weekly shipping plan to ensure efficient delivery of cargoMonitor and ensure least cost distribution strategy is always followedMonitor and troubleshoot cargo delivery to customers point of deliveryMonitor stock levels and ensure minimum dwell time in portProvide one off documentation instruction to freight forwarding company and answer queriesMonitor cargo ETAs and provide timeous telex releasesEffective communication with product suppliers PLEASE NOTE: Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
