Fmcg Operations & Logistics Project Manager

An innovative and cutting-edge retail brand display asset management company is on the hunt for a seasoned FMCG, CPG or Retail project manager.
This role is perfect for and demands the expertise of a seasoned professional project manager with extensive experience in projects related to logistics and retail execution operations.
This person can easily share examples of when you:

Played a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering complex projects on time, in full and within budget!
Successfully led cross-functional teams.
Developed impactful strategies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ensured the successful implementation of projects, from inception to completion, that optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
Influenced key stakeholders to ensure your project continued to move forward.
Problem-solved effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end project delivery.
Client SLA/KPI setting, tracking and reporting.
Client Satisfaction - Client Relationship and Account Management.
Cost Estimates.
Reporting, Scheduling and Administration.
Issue resolution.
Commercial ownership - pricing, finance process adherence (purchase order, accruals, invoicing and overall risk mitigation).
Team leadership, Mentorship, Culture.
Forecasting accuracy, measurement and formulation of strategies to deliver revenue consistency in line with forecast commitments.

Qualifications:

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Honours degree preferred) OR EQUIVALENT.
6+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in CPG, retail logistics and execution.
Relevant certifications in project management or business administration are advantageous.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Driver's license.
Bi-lingual is advantageous.
Emotional intelligence.

Key Details:

Role is based on the northern side of Durban.
Will require you to drive between offices, production and warehousing.
Salary is market and experience related.
