Minimum requirements: Grade 12 (NQF 4)Trade test Certificate (Mechanical Fitting or Fitting and Turning)3 Years' minimum trade experience in a related field or plantProficient in English, being bilingual will be highly advantageous.Valid Code B drivers license and own reliable transportSouth African citizen.Be willing to work shifts (Day/Night), weekends, Sundays, on external sites, overtime and on public holidays when necessary.KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform investigations, diagnose, and trade related maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery.Apply warranty and company rules when repairing equipment.Do risk analysis and decide on method of repair (planning).Carry out repairs according to specifications.Ensure accurate and timeous completion of Job Cards.Ensure accurate and timeous completion of timesheet/clocking.Make sure all spares are captured on a Job Card.Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies as laid down by law and the company.Always wear proper and clean PPE as prescribed by the company.Work area/workbench must be cleaned when job is completed.Perform additional tasks as and when required and performing it to best of ability and according to company standards and procedures.Supervise assistant(s) as per company procedure and apply "on the job training" for the assistant(s).Timeously attending to call-outs.On time reporting/feedback on call-out if any occurred.Report and provide feedback to Foreman as required.Adhere to work instructions.Consultant: Mellissa Rambally - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
