Requirement: A skilled and dedicated Fitter and Turner / Teamleader with expertise in milling, perforating, and cutting machines.Key Responsibilities:Operate, monitor, and maintain milling, perforating, and cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and precisionSupport the adoption of Lean Manufacturing by continuously striving to eliminate waste, maximise efficiency, and improve work qualityContribute to achieving a Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 98%Adhere to standardised work processes to reduce variations and minimise errorsMaintain a minimum Quality Yield of 95% each month, ensuring defective products do not pass downstreamImplement changes within 72 hours of receiving new initiativesFollow housekeeping principles daily (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardise, Sustain)Utilise Kanban Boards to effectively display production schedulingAdhere to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies to contribute to a safe work environmentPrepare, set up, adjust, and monitor milling, perforating, and cutting machines, ensuring all equipment is in proper working orderConduct regular maintenance and safety checks on all machinery, focusing on milling, perforating, and cutting operationsPerform deburring, honing, and finishing of machined components as requiredParticipate in in-house training to gain a comprehensive understanding of milling, perforating, and cutting machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across all departmentsQualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Fitter and Turner, specifically with milling, perforating, and cutting machines, within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of machine functions, maintenance, and troubleshooting, particularly in relation to milling, perforating, and cutting operationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and the 5S methodology.
