Position Title: Financial Reporting Manager Location: Durban Qualification Required: CA(SA) Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting function and ensure accuracy, compliance, and insightfulness in our financial disclosures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and improving our financial reporting processes, working with cross-functional teams, and providing high-quality financial data to support business decision-making. Duties & Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and company policies. Coordinate the consolidation of financial results and present comprehensive financial reports to management, auditors, and stakeholders. Manage all internal and external reporting timelines and requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Audit & Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, addressing queries and ensuring compliance. Ensure all regulatory and tax submissions are completed accurately and on time, in line with current legislation. Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting. Identify opportunities to enhance reporting systems and streamline processes for greater efficiency. Financial Analysis & Insights: Provide insightful analysis of financial results, identifying key trends and variances. Support senior management with financial insights to inform strategic planning, risk assessment, and corporate decision-making. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting team to ensure strong performance, engagement, and professional growth. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of financial data and processes. Qualifications & Skills Required: CA(SA) qualification (required). Minimum 2-3 of experience in financial reporting, preferably in Manufacturing In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant reporting standards. Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and audit procedures. Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (experience with [specific software, if relevant] is advantageous).
