Financial Manager - Northern Suburbs, Cape Town Reference PE002812 Location Western Cape, CPT - Northern Suburbs Salary Interval Monthly Package None-negotiable Description Our client in the IT industry is currently looking to employ a Financial Manager based in Cape Town.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.Requirements:Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience (excluding article time)Matric (required) bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.SAIPA, CIMA advantage Strong experience in financial analysis and reportingAdvanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.SAGE and pastel partner experienceAbility to develop financial and operational models.Strong organizational, analytical, and people skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsInitiative-taking to learn new concepts and participate in new projects. Possesses a strong aptitude for numerical analysis. Collaborate well with people.Anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines. Ability to be flexible and able to work as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure.Critical thinking skillsStrong account management skills.Required to reside in the Northern suburbs.Fluent in Afrikaans and English Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:Oversee the daily processing for the finance team.Review of monthly reconciliations.Treasury management.Month-end process completion (including monthly journal preparations).Monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.Prepare and run annual audits and financial statements.Financial analysis.Process improvement.Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director. Please note should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying you may assume that your application was unsuccessful.
