A well-established 4* hotel in Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to oversee and manage all financial operations of the property. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar role within a 4/5* hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Monitor and control costs to maximise profitability while ensuring operational efficiency.
Conduct financial analysis and provide reports to senior management for decision-making.
Implement internal controls and conduct regular audits to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
Work closely with department heads to ensure effective financial management across the property.
Requirements:
Recent experience as a Financial Manager in a 4/5* hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, hotel accounting, and tax laws.
Proven ability to manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and hotel accounting systems.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
