Financial Manager PositionOur client, a Producer, Packer, and Exporter of fruit, is looking to employ a Financial Manager to join their finance team in Bellville.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:Qualified CA, with a strong commercial acumenMinimum of 8 years experience in finance or accountingAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead and motivate a teamProficient in MS Office and payroll softwareAgricultural experience would be to your advantageBe willing to travel from time to timeResponsibilities:Budgeting and ForecastingPrepare monthly management accountsMonthly financial reportingPrepare board packsPrepare and submission of statutory returns and company secretarial duties:Know your client proceduresCIPCSARS (including VAT, ETI, Tax computations and provisional tax)Prepare business plans to provide accurate financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-makingEnsure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standardsManage weekly and monthly paymentsPrepare audit files and finalization of accountsLiaising with external auditors and ensuring company compliance with all aspects of the auditsReview and implementation of internal controlsContinuous evaluation of and improvements to financial systems and processes, to increase efficiency and accuracy.Management and Control of:Legal AgreementsCredit applicationsAsset FinanceCashflowInsurance
