We are seeking a Financial Controller for a permanent role (with 3-month probation) based in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with B. Degree in Accounting / Finance and 3+ years related experience4 years industry experience with a good costing backgroundAble to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves, variances & stock holdingKnowledge of import analysis & product costingKnowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting StandardsGood verbal / written ability as well as MS Office (Excel) experienceKnowledge of Sage 300 & BPM preferredCode 8 license with own vehicle3-month probation period with benefits thereafterThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Maintain good financial control, cost analysis and sales analysisManage accounts receivable and staffEnsure the daily department activities are coordinatedPrepare journal entries and do cost reportingCoordinate with IT departmentEnsure compliance with all legislation and analyze cost accounting dataTesting internal controls and converting dataReview / analyse inventory and margin reportsSupport for audit & tax schedulesEnsure timely submission of schedules to managementHighlight problematic customers to ExcoPrepare / complete monthly accounts receivable reportsAttend meetingsAttend monthly BCM consultation meetingsCalculate sales commissions Salary: R35 000.00 – R40 000.00 pm (experience dependent), R6500.00 car allowance and fuel card
