A Financial Administrator position is available within an off-campus student accommodation facility in Gqeberha.RESPONSIBLITIES:Including, but not limited toInteracting with students in respect of accommodation and related fees, i.e. issuing invoices, taking payments, following up on arrears (maintaining the debtors book)Co-ordinating the collection of rentals from NSFAS for funded students.Maintaining filing system with student files.Managing ad-hoc lease agreements i.e. income from cellphone towersBookkeeping up to trial balanceSupplier processing, recons and paymentsAdministration of municipal accounts, including queries and meter reconsCompilation and submission for VAT, dividends tax returnsPreparation of monthly management packsCompilation of annual audit packs for review by financial managerAssisting financial manager with various tasks, i.e.Reviewing payment packsMonitoring tax liability of the companyCompiling and reviewing management packsGeneral office administration as neededREQUIREMENTSBCom degree or other financial qualification with accounting as a subject would be advantageousExcellent computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience on account software packages would be advantageousStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, open plan officeDrivers licenseShould you not receive any response within 2 weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
