An established UK holding company specialising in hair salons is currently seeking a strategic and operationalFinance Managerto join their team inCape Town.
The company is looking for a new Finance Manager who will manage the South African team that fully supports the finance function for the UK operations. This role is responsible for managing daily financial operations, delivering strategic insights, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a demonstrated track record in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management.
Oversee and ensure accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including financial statements.
Ensure regulatory compliance and implement internal controls.
Manage cash flow and investment strategies.
Lead and mentor the finance team.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals.
Conduct risk assessments and safeguard assets.
Prepare reports for stakeholders, including the board and investors.
Act as finance lead on key projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
At least 5 years of experience in finance management.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems (Xero and NetSuite Oracle is advantageous).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and liaise with internal/external stakeholders.
UK Finance experience is beneficial.
Salary and Benefits:
R600 000 - R750 000 CTC depending on the candidate's level of experience.
