If you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, we encourage you to apply.Maintaining financial records, including accounts and statementsEnsuring transactions are recorded accuratelyProviding support to the finance department with various tasks, such as invoice processing and data entryCommunicating with other departments and external parties as necessaryPayroll Administration:Prepare staff accounts submissions for payrollOvertime/ leave balance record keeping and cross checkingAssist in preparation of relevant payroll information for NBCEI Monthly submissionsGeneral Finance responsibilitiesAssisting with AFS preparationAssisting the Finance Controller with Financial Record keepingAssisting with Stock take to ensure accurate valuationsUpdating Financial information into the project Management systemMaintaining financial RecordsSupplier AdministrationReconciling supplier accounts and ensuring all transactions are recorded accuratelyCapturing Supplier invoices / related documents accurately and towards the appropriate accountEnsuring that Invoices raised are correct / match PO'sCommunicating with project manager to ensure all project specific charges are raised correctlyPreparing daily / weekly / Monthly payments timeously according to Supplier payment termsMaintaining Order payments sheetChecking Purchase orders against customer ordersAllocating payments against related invoicesEnsuring all Supplier related documents are correctly saved and filed physically and digitallyCustomer administrationReconciling Customer accounts and ensuring all transactions are recorded accuratelyPrepare customer InvoicesWorking closely with Project team to ensure accurate and complete invoicesPrepare Customer StatementsAllocating payments against related invoicesCreating and updating project costingsProviding project related information to the project managerCommunicating dates; deadlines and delays timeously to the team so that everyone is aware of project timelines and clients are informedEnsuring all Customer related documents are correctly saved and filed physically and digitallyDiverse tasksAnswering phone callsThese duties are not the only duties required by the job and management may assign additional duties from time to time.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleKey AttributesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingProficient in using accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with a can-do attitudeRequirementsSouth African citizenValid driver's licenseMust have own transport
