Minimum Qualification:MatricRelevant degree in Production/Operations/Engineering5-10 Years manufacturing experience.Proficient in Microsoft packages Skills & AttributesProven experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Key Responsibilities: Production Planning:Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.Coordinate with other departments to ensure the availability of resources such as raw materials, equipment, and manpower.Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.Team Leadership:Supervise and lead Formans.Train, motivate, and evaluate Formans to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.Quality Control:Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality products.Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement in quality and efficiency.Take corrective actions to address quality issues promptly.Budget Management:Develop and manage the production budget by estimating cost and preparing budgets.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.Health and Safety Compliance:Enforce and promote a safe working environment in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance overall productivity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.Communication:Maintain open communication channels with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance.Provide regular updates to senior management on production progress, challenges, and opportunities
