Maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:Operate hand tools as required AND assemble, lift, pick and pack productsSupport and participate in Employee Engagement activitiesFollow defined clean-up timesWork in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policiesMust follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and StandardizedParticipate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for CustomersIdentify problems; communicate issuesAssist with training co-workersSupport a respectful workplacePerform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or managementGrind reclaimed material from the Production LinesGrind scrap material from the Extrusion LinesOther duties and responsibilities assigned by leadershipQualificationsMust have current license or certificate to prove were licensed for forkliftDependability/punctuality & Detail OrientedAbility to read a tape measurer is requiredHigh school diploma is preferredAbility to read/write in English is preferredBasic reading and math skills are preferredAbility to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand is requiredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistAbility to work in hot & cold environment is requiredBe able to work extended hours and weekend based on business needs is requiredWilling & able to work various positions in various departments (cross-trained) is requiredPerform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods is requiredAble to comply with all company policies and procedures, including all safety regulations is requiredAbility to follow Supervisors instructions/directions as given is requiredPossess the following skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication and initiativeAdditional InformationSite Location: 1780 Westfork Dr., Lithia Springs, GA 30122Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
