THE OPPORTUNITY IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg campus is seeking appointees in the field of Payroll Administration and Systems to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies. JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Lecturing/FacilitationMarkingStudent supportCompetencies Required: Communications skillsOrganisational skillsTime managementMinimum Education Requirements per module: Ideal: Honours degree with an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management/Accounting with payroll administration up to second-year level.Alternatively: Honours degree with an undergraduate degree in one of the Business/Payroll related fields with Accounting or Financial Management up to the second-year level.Lecturers will need a Sage One Payroll/Sage Payroll or Sage Business Cloud Payroll certification.Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Human Resources Management/Payroll administration/Accounting practices.Work experience as a Human Resources Practitioner/Payroll Administrator.Working Conditions: This is an Independent Contractor role.Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to personally contact all applicants.
