Export Coordinator (Jhb)

Key Responsibilities include the following: Respond to enquiries or provide quotes for potential and existing clients.Implement financial procedures for confirmed ordersExecute confirmed orders / negotiate shipping and operational requirements / issue shipping instructions / supplier confirmation / documentation / stock control (expiry datesetc) / shipping file cover / communication with clients / follow up on actual shipmentBusiness Development Manager support and backup. Minimum Experience Required: Knowledge of the Export processExperience with exportation of mixed goods containersExperience with the exportation of fresh produceComputer literacy and an advanced knowledge of excelKnowledge of export costingsExperience with exchange rates and foreign currenciesWorking knowledge of export documentation Skills and characteristics: Driven and determinedExcellent attention to detailNumerically mindedTakes great pride in their workMulti-taskerEnjoys a pressurised work environmentProactive and assertiveGood interpersonal skills
