is currently partnering with a company who owns a portfolio of restaurants in Hermanus to recruit an experienced and energetic
EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF
Requirements
Culinary qualification from a reputable institution preferred
Previous experience as a Sous Chef managing multiple restaurants advantageous
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisine types
Attention to detail and ability to create innovative and appealing menus
Excellent menu costing experience
Ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff
Strong organizational, delegation and time management skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Stable employment history and contactable references.
Must have a valid driver's license and own transport
