The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and a proven track record of accurately assessing project costs and preparing competitive bids.ResponsibilitiesReview project drawings and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating purposesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projectsAnalyze project risk factors and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overrunsPresent and defend estimates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teamsMonitor project progress and cost variations to ensure estimate accuracyKeep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to inform future estimatesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimatingProficiency in estimating software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesKnowledge of construction codes, regulations, and best practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportationBenefitsSalary: negotiableContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
