Overview Environmental Specialist – Tank TerminalsHire Resolve's client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Environmental Specialist to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing and implementing environmental programs, and managing environmental risks at their tank terminal facilities.Responsibilities:Advising on environmental laws and regulations applicable to tank terminal operationsDeveloping and implementing environmental management systems and programsConducting environmental audits and assessments at tank terminal facilitiesIdentifying and mitigating environmental risks associated with tank terminal operationsManaging environmental compliance reporting and record-keepingProviding environmental training and guidance to tank terminal staffCollaborating with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on environmental issuesRequirements:Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Environmental Management, engineering, or a related fieldExperience: 3+ years of experience in environmental management or compliance, preferably in a tank terminal or oil and gas industryKnowledge: Knowledge of international, and local environmental regulationsCertifications: ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., CEM, REM) is a plusSkills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Competitive salary Health insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off Professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
