We are seeking two experienced English Facilitators to join a reputable educational institute on a fixed term contract basis in Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will focus on delivering engaging lessons, fostering a conducive learning environment, and assisting students in improving their language proficiency for academic and professional success.
The candidate's responsibilities will include: Facilitate interactive English language workshops, tutorials, and lectures aligned with the curriculum.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs.
Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Evaluate and assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments.
Collaborate with faculty members to support interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
The successful candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English at the tertiary level or to adult learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate diverse student groups.
Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching.
Knowledge of South Africa's higher education landscape desirable.
