ENVIRONMENT: A dynamic Manufacturer in specialised polyethylene supplies seeks a highly meticulous & solutions-driven Electro-Mechanical Millwright to join its team. Your role will entail ensuring proper electrical and mechanical fault reporting and maintenance is performed while carrying out preventative maintenance or repair of all electrical and mechanical issues. Applicants must be a Certified Millwright or possess evidence of other Electromechanical training/education (Proof of Certification required). You will also require Electrical work experience/skills for a production environment including fault finding, PLCs, and experience with Motors and Drives. DUTIES: Apply and adhere to the stringent quality control measures. Ensure proper electrical and mechanical fault reporting and maintenance is performed to the Employer's standard at all times. Ensure the proper cleaning of all tools and equipment to the satisfaction of the Employer. Carry out the preventative maintenance or repair of all electrical and mechanical issues. Carry out the maintenance or repair of all existing and future machinery within the Company's possession and premises as required by the Employer. Carry out the preventative maintenance plan for all existing and future machinery within the Company's possession and premises as required by the Employer. Such preventative maintenance includes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance. Develop new systems and processes to aid the production efficiency of all machinery and equipment within the Company's possession/premises in order to meet the Production Efficiency targets set out by the Employer. Work with other departments and staff throughout the Company to ensure proper documentation and record keeping is done as required by the Employer. Work to reduce scrap, wastage, and downtime of machinery wherever possible. Adhere to the Company's policies wherever possible, including Health and Safety policies, Food Safety policies, Maintenance policies, Workplace policies, Quality Control, dress code, time keeping, and the like. Repair broken or defective machinery parts using welding, brazing tools, and other specialised tools and equipment. Review and follow technical machinery manuals. Collaborate with multiple Technicians, Engineers, and other members for the purpose of constructing, maintaining, and repairing various technical machinery. Use other heavy machinery, such as forklifts, to carry out the above duties. REQUIREMENTS: Certified Millwright or evidence of other Electromechanical training/education (Proof of Certification required). Electrical experience/skills for a production environment. Detail orientated (highly important – we will not tolerate sloppiness). Experience with fault finding. Experience with PLCs. Experience with Motors and Drives. Punctual (highly important – we will not tolerate poor attendance). Teachable person (highly important – we specifically require someone willing to learn). Ability to work shifts according to a schedule. Needs to work shifts on a rotating basis. Own vehicle and license.
