Must be first and foremost a responsible individual with great attention to safety precautions.Maintain logs and record labour, materials, and equipment used, relevant to job card feedback.Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.Direct and train other workers and apprentices.Respond quickly to emergency situations.Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment.Wire machines and electrical panels according to electrical wiring standards.Install, maintain, and repair any electrical system.Ensure that electrical systems are safe and running efficiently.Troubleshoot to find the root cause of issues and think of a logical solution.Follow lawful instructions by Foreman/Manager/Employer.Work shifts and be available for standby at times.Effectively interface and support the production departments.Ensure maximum contribution towards achievement of the business.Practice safety and good housekeeping.Implement modifications only as instructed.Work on other electrical projects as required.Ensure that risk assessments have been completed before commencing any task.Work overtime, do standby, and be available for call-outs should the need arise.Report any unlawful activities.Follow any other lawful and reasonable instructions as teamwork should prevail at all times.
