Electrical Supervisor/ Robotics Technician Port Elizabeth(WAGES, 3 SHIFT) Our client in the manufacturing industry has a new project and requires an experienced Electrical / Robotic Tech Supervisor to supervise the team installing new robotics. You must be a hands on person and work alongside your Team. Duties:Ensure that all subordinates are performing according to the requirements as set out in their job descriptions / quality operating systems / procedures / work instructions.Develop and foster staff morale through motivation and leading by exampleComplete all work requests on time.Attend to shift breakdowns ASAP.Ensure correct start up and shutdown of plant at the start and end of shift.Setting up programs, maintenance and training on robot welders.Assist the Maintenance Department to achieve KPI targets.Adhere to accepted housekeeping standards (5S)Do shift handover at the end of each shift.Engage and participate in Departmental reviews (weekly/monthly/quarterly)Ensure the accurate recording and reporting of breakdowns at the end of shift.Ensure compliance with the Environmental Regulation (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety Regulations and procedures within the company (ISO 45001). This includes adherence with the company policies and procedures.QualificationEssential is your completed trade-test as an Electrician.Post Matric Technical Qualification essentialEssential is the applicants experience in a similar position. +- 5yrsWorking knowledge of Mitsubishi PLC's.Previous Supervisory experienceExperienced robotics Maintenance and programmingPress Shop experience (Mechanical Presses)Maintenance and installation of Electrical systemsA good understanding of installation rules, regulations and machine safety systems.Highly advantageous is the ability to operate and monitor press machines and have a full understanding of production process (stages, quality indicators, scrap etc.).Essential is the ability to problem solve out of specification results with regards to job requirements – effect on production machinery and end/manufactured product and identify corrective actions.Good communication skills (English) – both verbal (conversational) and written (basic admin)
