Editorial & Communication Specialist

Minimum RequirementsA Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing degree from a reputable institution.4+ years working experience in a communications-related role.Overview of PositionPublication ManagementManage the overall production process of all the company's publications.Perform copy editing duties to ensure quality.Successfully liaise and manage applicable content contributors to ensure that all deliverables are met.Assist in ensuring the uploading and distribution of the company's publications on the company website and with external publishers.Regularly update the contributors' and authors' list making use of industry/designation segmentation processes to differentiate contributors and authors.Content Research and WritingResearch and originate relevant topics on taxation with the aim of the development of media articles.Assist in copyediting and ensure the integrity of language and proper grammar in all written, marketing and various multimedia content.Communication FunctionsProvide support with media liaison duties specifically with growing the media database.Provide support to the Head of Communications with writing communication for the web, media communication and special projects.Assist in the drafting of reports and analysis on media monitoring.Assist with other communication functions as and when required.Desired SkillsEditorJournalistResearchMedia LiaisonCommunicationsAdobeAdobe AcrobatDesired Qualification LevelDegree
