A specialist warehouse and distribution company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer service-oriented Dispatch Manager in GautengTo supply stores with timeous deliveries (OTIF) on a daily basisMinimum Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF4 qualificationComputer literate (MS Office).Bcom Logistics/Supply Chain Degree advantageous1 year or more Dispatching experience in a DC environmentMust be familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and dispatch processesOUTBOUNDEnsure that staff complement is as per Client recommendation and scheduleEnsure that the daily schedule is agreed upon with Client Planning departmentPlan daily deliveries and forecast on the number of plans to be delivered on the dayEnsure OTIF is met on a daily basisMitigate risks in the departmentEnsure "bag" control is adhered toEnsure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are compiledEnsure there is ongoing communication with Client Planning and Transport departmentEnsure Management of TES is in accordance with Outbound SOPFINANCEManage XMQIR to below R700000 per dayCheck Daily report on Scanned Left – Behind products and deal with them timeously; and include in a new planManage damages in the departmentEnsure that the strapping and wrapping process is adhered to at all times to minimize financial riskEnsure that SHEQ appointments are done as per regulationsEnsure that Invoicing is accurate and the daily schedule is followed 100%PROCESSPlan and Manage carry over plans for the dayManage "Bags" to transport timeously and complete the control sheetLiaise with Ops on the floor status at the start of the shift, during the day and end of the shiftEnsure that the consolidation and wrapping process is adhered toEnsure the loading process is adhered to as per SOPEnsure Strapping/and Outbound training are completed and signed offDeal with residue when the loading plan is completedLiaise with transport Shunter staff on trailer availability per doorManage productivity to maintain 4 deliveries, per Despatcher per shiftManage staging lanes in order to minimize the risk of product and financial implicationsPEOPLE MANAGEMENTResponsible for Staff Training and DevelopmentResponsible for Succession Planning of the departmentManaging leaveMaintaining headcounts (as per the agreed to schedule with the Client)Manage PPE complianceResponsible for adherence to SHEQ in the departmentConduct performance reviews, and create and monitor development and improvement plans and compensation reviews in coordination with Distribution Centre ManagementÂ
