DISPATCH GENERAL WORKER

A Food Production plant in Centurion has a position available for a skilled Dispatch General worker.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Dispatch Supervisor with control of the Warehouse and Dispatch Department.
• Control the flow of finished product from the warehouse, in and out of Dispatch
• Liaise with the administration department to coordinate orders and deliveries
• Supervise and assist with picking and loading of order
• Ensure compliance with OHS and Food Safety Procedures
• Vehicle checks and reporting of deviations
• Coordinate and maintain the cleaning of the Yard
• Pest Control

Skills required:
• Senior Certificate
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be an advantage
• At least 1 years of experience as a dispatching with a valid track record
• Strong negotiation skills
• Must be analytical
• Purchasing and inventory management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
