Job Description Anticipated Contract Length/End Date: 6 months Work set-up: Hybrid (2-3 days in Office) Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is looking for a Digital Project Manager (maternity leave coverage) to coordinate various digital projects from briefing to delivery, including resource and time planning.
The selected candidate should have a thorough understanding of (and appreciation for) IA/UX, UI/Copy, Development, SEO and Data required to fulfil this role.
What you will do: Partner with capability leads ensuring that project objectives are defined and clear, and team capabilities and skills are engaged successfully to achieve objectives.
Project Scoping – Facilitate project scopes alongside capability leads and account management.
Resource Forecasting - Plan accurate resource forecast, incl.
project plans, based on an objective view of the current and future project pipeline.
Project Spend Reporting - Understand how project success impacts on margin.
Partner with the account and product management team to course correct overspend.
Apply change management process within projects to drive efficiencies.
Post Project Analysis - Partner with leads on analysis of the total project budget against the total project cost (based on timesheet hours) ensuring that all learnings form part of future briefs. Staff Forecasting - Forecast the resources needed to staff a portfolio.
Ensure that the skill set, and experience matches requirement.
Presenting - Capability of clearly present thoughts, ideas, structure, and form, both verbally and visually.
Qualifications Digital PM experience with exposure to Development (A Must).
Ability to accurately scope out new projects: breaking down deliverables and requirements, structuring the projects, identifying correct resources, putting together costs/time.
(PM tool experience with Smartsheets, Workbook, Trello, Asana and Jira).
Ability to schedule, track and prioritise the work correctly with critical deadlines and milestones.
Tracking project spend, burn rate, and resource capacity.
Can deal with any day-to-day issues but still able to have a bigger picture view of project portfolios.
Flagging any risk upfront and solving any blockages.
Liaising with product management and account management to ensure all deliverables are met and budgets are adhered too.
Ability to keep a team motivated and moving forward.
