KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Amongst others, the intern will be responsible for: Brainstorm and research ideas for original content Conduct competitor social and digital channels analysis Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote on the various GTA digital marketing platforms Write social media captions that speak to the GTA digital target audience with GTA brand consistency Create and distribute written content such as social media posts, blogs, articles, press releases on social media and the website – www.gauteng.net Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms in liaison with GTA's digital marketing team Support the GTA marketing team at live and online events Assist with the overall development of the GTA social media accounts tone, language and texture Assist with digital campaign implementation Perform social media market research Assist with monitoring and tracking of social media engagement on GTA platforms to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns Assist the GTA Digital Marketing team to analyse analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A three-year bachelor's degree, National Diploma in Digital Marketing, Brand Communications, Communications, Journalism or B.A Arts. Written portfolio of previous completed and published work. Knowledge in the tourism and destination marketing space will be an added advantage
