Diesel Mechanic

East Rand Bulk, an accredited fuel transportation company, is currently seeking a young, vibrant, and energetic individual to join our team as a Diesel Trailer Mechanic.
Main purpose of this position:

To maintain and perform routine maintenance on the company's HDV fleet as well as fuel trailers.
To order, as required, correct spares or vehicle parts, receive, safely utilize, and complete inspections before releasing to relevant departments.
Ensure all fleet meets Company, Oil Companies, and Legal Requirements through proper maintenance, including completion of all relevant documentation, which must be of the highest standards.

Minimum qualifications/traits:

Certifiable Trade Test Certificate.
Qualified in diesel Motors and mechanical engineering.
EXCELLENT knowledge of Fuel Tankers and Trailers and possibly in pneumatics.
Good knowledge of Fleet Maintenance procedures.
Familiar with working on different brands of trucks e.g., Man, Volvo & Mercedes.
Willing to attend breakdowns.
Computer literacy is a necessity.
Must have own tools.
At least 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.
