The company specializes in both surface and underground drilling operations, utilizing cutting-edge technology and a steadfast commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled maintenance and repair work on heavy earthmoving machinery and surface drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.Housekeeping: Ensure all transport and machinery are kept clean and in serviceable condition, maintaining site cleanliness and neatness.General Duties: Follow any other reasonable instructions related to the mining environment as needed, ensuring compliance with operational or site regulations.Educational Requirements:Qualifications: Red Seal Certification or a National Diploma in Mechanics or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience working with heavy earthmoving machinery and surface drilling machinery in the mining industry.Knowledge, Competencies, and Abilities:Licenses: Valid Driver's License.Bilingual: Fully bilingual with strong communication skills.Health & Safety: Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination; knowledgeable in Health and Safety Regulations and Risk Management.Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, self-management, planning, organizing, and project management skills.Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated ability to supervise, build relationships with external suppliers, and effectively manage leave.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
