Diagnostic Radiographers General/Mammography - Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt And Mediclinic Panorama

Objective:
Will be responsible for operating Diagnostic Radiography Equipment to ensure diagnostic imaging of the highest standard and maintain the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree Diagnostic Radiographer
Registered with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer
Basic computer skills
Valid Basic Life Support certificate
South African citizenship or valid South African work permit

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Perform a diagnostic radiography service which includes General and Theatre work
Deliver Radiology images of diagnostic quality
Perform duties as a general radiographer during weekend and after hour shifts
Be patient focused
Good interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, referring physicians and radiologists
Supervise diagnostic radiography students when applicable
Compliance with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes as required by HPCSA
Willingness to participate in research
Report to Head of Department
