OverviewJob Title: Demand & Supply PlannerLocation: Cape TownPosition Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Demand & Supply Planner to join our team in Cape Town.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the demand and supply planning processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insightsCoordinate with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop an accurate demand planMonitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excessesDevelop supply plans to meet demand requirements while optimizing inventory levelsCollaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goodsEvaluate and recommend improvements to the supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costsAnalyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve performance in demand and supply planningRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience in demand and supply planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environmentStrong analytical skills and experience with forecasting tools and softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompetence in Power BI, SAP and advanced ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBenefits:Salary: Smallest – Largest (R450K/yr – R540K/yr, salary negotiable)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
