Dealership Finance Manager

Qualifications required:BCom Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or similar field of study.Honours or Post Graduate Degree is advantageous. Skills and experience required:2 - 3 years experience in a similar position.Automotive Retail / Dealership experience is a non-negotiable requirement.Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting and tax concepts, financial statements, trial balance, financial recordkeeping process and books or accounts of the company.Financial and accounting controls experience.Able to work under pressure.Sound financial acumen.Strong interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Deadline and results driven.Job description:Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of all financial management practices, activities and processes to deliver on approved operational financial plans and to continuously enhance service delivery.Provide direction, review and report up the line.To ensure the accurate completion of all reporting requirements and management accounts according to best practice accounting principles.Involved in developing strategies and set targets within are of accountability.Define, implement and ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.Risk management.Implement and manage end-to-end processes.Conduct reconciliation of vehicles, parts, and service assets, verify against accounting records and address all anomalies with senior line managementManagement of all assets (cash, fixed assets, etc)Perform reconciliations of financial records to enable verification of the validity of transactions.Report on key performance metrics and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.Policies and procedures.Budget variances and solutions.Payments and debtors.Management accounts.Identifying cost saving initiatives and opportunities to increase profitability.Ensure accurate billing of accounts and charges.VAT returns and SARS compliance.Plan, manage and monitor processes to ensure customer service excellence.Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships.Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.Please consider your application unsuccessful if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks.
