This role is critical in facilitating the data-driven decisions which are made in the business, focusing on collecting, organizing, cleaning, and analyzing data to ensure accuracy and data integrity for various client needs. This includes:Collection – extracting data from clients and in a format that is easy to use by the HANGAR49 team. This includes creating and managing web scrapers to collect data.Standardization – ensuring that the data that has been collected is easily used and processed by the Data Processor and HANGAR49 stakeholders.Sanitization – using a variety of tools to clean the data as well as ensuring data integrity.Enrichment – using a variety of tools to enrich a given set of data to provide data which is much more meaningful to our clients. This includes identifying missing data points and enriching the data records with missing data.Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices. It is expected that you are continuously:Experimenting with technology & tools to advance HANGAR49 as a business with new/best-in-class systems to advance us in how we are building.Advancing HANGAR49 workflows to provide exceptional and valuable data for our clients and therefore, provide excellent service.Continuously improve the HANGAR49 system by connecting tools such as Google Sheets, CSVs, off-the-shelf data building tools, etc. & wiring them to things like AI and automations to improve datasets.Understand client needs:Have an in-depth understanding of the client, their product/service offering and their key objectives. This includes critically evaluating the problem and what is being asked. Keep up to date with client industry trends to ensure we are aligning search queries to this learning.Keep up to date with trending patterns to ensure that HANGAR49 provides the best database for clients.Build "sample data" using the best in class systems & methods to be able to reach the objectives. What is expected of you is to:Collaborate with the sales/customer success teams to understand what is needed.Translate the team needs into data search queries using a variety of tools.Produce sample data that enables the HANGAR49 team to provide the best service offering to existing and potential clients.Build full data for clients. This includes:Being able to assemble data into segments.Present data to clients in a meaningful manner to align with client needs.Build trusting relationships with customer success representatives in order to deliver work which is realistic and of high quality. This includes being able to push back on work where this exceeds the service offering from HANGAR49.Work closely with the rest of the HANGAR49 team. What is expected of you is to:Build exceptional data sets for the Customer Success Team's potential clients to ensure that they can showcase the competency of data building processes at HANGAR49.Collaborate with the engineering team to get a deep understanding of HANGAR49 clients' needs.Provide meaningful feedback to the Customer Success Team. This is done through reviewing the data and collaborating with the Customer Success team to gather feedback on any learnings from the past month.Be willing to go above and beyond to understand the core needs and requirements of a project or task. This includes managing deadlines and project timelines, probing the team and clients to ensure that the right information is provided to complete the work, as well as refining work based on client feedback.RequirementsMatric (Excellent performance in English and Mathematics is preferable)Computer literate (comfortable with Microsoft Office and especially Google Sheets)Familiarity and comfortability with search string operators (keywords, boolean search, truncation/wildcard symbols) to perform simple to moderately difficult search queries. E.g. "AND", "OR", "NOT", "+", "-", etc.Familiarity with advanced search options to perform search strings within databases.Have an understanding of keywords, subject headings, themes, and prompts to refine the search query for data sourcing.Be familiar with spreadsheet and database applications e.g. Google Sheets, Airtable, Microsoft Excel etc. to process raw data and refine the sourced data.Be familiar and comfortable with spreadsheet formulas and functions such as find, lookup, match, if-statements, and conditional logic.
