Data Management Specialist: Corporate Actions (Prescient Fund Services)The Data Management Specialist within the Corporate Actions space is responsible for the notification, processing and reporting of corporate actions and proxy voting. In this role you will be responsible for verifying corporate elections received, reconciling & confirming the accuracy of corporate actions processing as well as proxy voting.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCorporate Actions Checking and verifying corporate actions notifications loaded on the system Verifying corporate elections received Instruction of elective corporate actions Reconciliation and confirmation of accuracy of corporate actions processing Support clients with regards to Proxy Elections and the sourcing of LORs Document process and procedures specific to the Corporate Actions functionREQUIRED EXPERIENCE Relevant experience of at least 2-3 years with specific Corporate actions experience gained within an asset management/fund operations environment Strong numerical and analytical skillsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRelevant tertiary qualification (s) - Bcom degree or DiplomaKEY COMPETENCIESHighly methodical with strong interest in portfolio administrationAnalytical thinker with problem solving skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAccountabilityAble and keen to work in a team environmentGood communication and writing skills WHY THIS ROLE?
