Main purpose of the job: Assist with data management activities, IoT, wearables devices and consolidation of medical imagery and data Location: PHRU – Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Soweto - Johannesburg Key performance areas: Intermediate REDCap database development Generate data integrity and query reports on datasets Resolve queries from the sites and re-queries arising from inadequate initial responses Provide data insights by means of reports, summaries and visualisations Update study databases as and when required Synchronise data with servers Electronic equipment asset management insofar as setup, optimizing and tracking Updating data within project systems and software Assist with any ad hoc data management related work Process requests to randomise participants and reporting thereof Involved in planning and setting up of projects that include IoT, wearables, image and sound analyses, etc. Retrieval, consolidation and standardised labelling of electronic medical data collected throughout studies Required minimum education and training: Matric Plus Qualification in Data Management or Analysis Required minimum work experience: Minimum 1 years' experience in data administration Knowledge of database systems Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities: Intermediate REDCap experience (data reports and quality) REDCap database designing and piloting Exposure with IoT projects and or medical wearables Ability to work with statistical packages such as STATA or SAS Innovative, solution driven and proven problem-solving abilities TO APPLY: Only if you do meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
