Minimum Requirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent people skills and EQStrong administrative and organizing skillsStrong negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving skillsGood numerical sense and the ability to solve basic mathematical problemsMatric certificateMinimum of 2 years' experience in customer service or telesales (Call Centre)Knowledgeable in Syspro system (A must)Bilingual - Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (A must)Core Functions (Not Limited to):Understand customer needs and ensure effective support and problem-solving is applied.Ensure customer complaints are directed to the relevant internal person and follow up until resolved.Handle customer queries quickly and ensure follow-up communication until resolved.Capture customer orders and communication regarding orders accurately.Double-check orders received to ensure they are captured accurately.Capture orders received via email or telephone within the same day.Inform customers of delays in capturing orders and provide clear timelines.Ensure customers receive detailed order confirmations and information on out-of-stock items.Work with the finance team to ensure timely payment for orders to avoid delivery delays.Inform customers of reasons for order delays and next steps for delivery.Send available stock to customers and inform them to place new orders for short-delivered products.Keep records of short-delivered products due to not working on back orders.Record back orders on Syspro and clear them once completed.Offer alternative products when the required product is unavailable.Ensure invoices are completed before stock leaves warehouses; no stock can be delivered without senior management approval.Reserve only stock due for delivery within 5 working days for customers.Adopt a proactive sales approach by contacting customers to ensure orders are received.Understand customer sales history and identify new sales opportunities.Achieve sales targets as per business requirements.Support the external sales team and maintain regular contact with sales representatives.Communicate new customer queries with respective sales reps to determine opportunities.Complete all admin related to the position timeously and accurately.
