Our client is a boutique law firm specializing in property law and conveyancing services.
With a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, they provide comprehensive legal support for property transactions across South Africa.They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary/ Paralegal with expertise in property transfers to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating smooth and efficient property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and delivering exceptional service to their clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to property transfers.Manage and coordinate the conveyancing process from initiation to completion, including liaising with clients, attorneys, and relevant authorities.Conduct title searches, property searches, and due diligence to verify property ownership and assess any encumbrances or restrictions.Assist attorneys with the preparation of transfer documents, including deeds of sale, transfer duty declarations, and transfer forms.Facilitate communication and collaboration between various parties involved in property transactions, including sellers, buyers, banks, and municipalities.Maintain accurate records, files, and databases related to property transactions and client information.Provide administrative support to attorneys and other team members as needed.Experience and Qualification:Minimum of 8 years experience as a Conveyancing Secretary/ Paralegal with a focus on property transfers.Diploma or certification in Legal Secretary Studies or a related field preferred.Experience with ABSA and Investec bonds.Proficient with Ghost Practice, Lexis Convey, e4.Proficiency in conveyancing processes, property law, and relevant regulations in South Africa.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing legal documents.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.Computer literacy, including proficiency in conveyancing software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others.Salary: Market RelatedPlease apply online.Brought to you by AGC Legal Recruitment
