Inventory Controller (Kellogg's Boksburg)
Job Purpose
To maintain stock integrity within the warehouse and reconcile all stock differences so as to maintain loss to the Company.
Key areas of responsibility include: Consistently achieve established key performance indicators for productivity, accuracy and housekeeping.To work within any operating areas as determined by the management and needs of the business.HousekeepingHealth and SafetyWorking in a team environmentTimeous completion of tasksAssist with the induction and training of stock control assistants as and when necessary.Complying with company policies and procedures.Perform regular cycle counts in accordance with agreed schedules to ensure KPI's are met.Perform unplanned cycle counts in response to warehouse stock integrity issues such as stock discrepancies and pick shortages.Carry out detailed stock investigations when requested, make adjustments and report.Investigate and rectify any issues created by replenishment synchronization.Perform regular audits of key processes including Receiving, Put Away, Pick & Dispatch according to agreed schedules and report.Monitor non-allocatable stock and report issues.Relocate stock and required in order to maintain both store friendly picking and optimum slot utilization.Utilize warehouse management systems effectively to support the above tasks.Filing all documentation generated as a result of the above.Respond to product holds when required.Ensure all equipment used during the course of daily duties is handled correctly and to report any defects to the Section Manager.When conducting duties, follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices.Perform administration tasks according to standard operating procedures.Capture all inbound stock into PRIDE.Print labels for put-aways.Setting up new product codes on the item master.Ongoing monitoring of the sin bin.Monitor the expiry dates of the stock nationally.Sort out damages.Capture stock adjustments.Schedule all import containers.Give input to DC Manager for the weekly dashboard.Responsible for transhipment returns from all depots.Capture replenishes and GRA put-aways.Responsible for stock moves on all four warehouses.Monitoring Data Loggers (locally and nationally).Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
