Senwes is seeking the services of a Content Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing and communication content on relevant platforms is aligned with the Senwes Group Strategies.
Design, implement and maintain all print, online and broadcast marketing, and communication channels (Corporate Brand and Identity Management)
Remain innovative & competitive by actively challenging content and positioning in the market.
Responsible for the approval of marketing and communication material produced by journalists, writers, designers and digital content specialists.
Manage external suppliers responsible for broadcast channels.
Attend relevant media conferences and write company press releases.
Execution of marketing and communication material in terms of standards, principles, practices and deadlines.
Liaise and network with relevant role-players to maintain information flow.
Manage corporate brand reputation by actively tracking and monitoring content.
Liaise and network with operational and support units in the Group and liaise with the media and media channels.
Align content strategy with the marketing strategy
Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term strategies and plans.
Develop a web content strategy that encompasses the goals of a company and aligns with the company's image.
Familiarize yourself with each business's brand ideals and website to create content that supports their objectives and desired identity.
Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
Manage and coordinate the marketing content team
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout.
Edit, proofread and improve writers' posts.
Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency.
Manage and monitor content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board.
Oversee a content production team's creation and management of targeted content for the company's website.
Cooperate with the marketing team to create web content and monitor its effectiveness over time.
Manage and supervise the daily activities of a content team composed of writers, graphic designers, videographers, and other industry professionals.
Optimise marketing content activities
Ensure the creation and publishing of engaging content.
Optimise content according to the Marketing strategies and SEP.
Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and users engagement metrics.
Recommend amendments to strategies and SEP.
Stay up to date with developments and generate new innovative concepts to draw the audience's attention.
Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimised for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative.
Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company.
Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree.
Requirements: At least 3 years' relevant experience.
