In this role, you will ensure our operations meet legal standards while guiding and inspiring your team to excel.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.Provide training and support to team members on compliance issues.Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies as necessary.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance or legal roles.At least 2 years of experience managing a team.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Position Type: Full-time permanent position based in officeLocation: Claremont, Cape TownSalary offered is dependent on amount of experience as a team lead: From R30,000 (Compliance Officer looking to take on some more responsibility as a team lead).
