We are seeking a CNC Machine Tool Setter for a permanent role, based in East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with Machine Tool Setter or Fitting & Turning Trade Test qualification essentialKnowledge of IATF quality systems related to machine shop3-5 years production/technical experience in a manufacturing environment / production facility in a Machine Shop DepartmentAbility to set/maintain all machines within the Machine Shop including writing programs for the CNC MachinesThe successful applicants would be responsible for, but not limited to: Be able to program CNC machine Centers & Lathes.Load programmes and set machinesHave the ability to read micrometers & verniersAble to measure accurately with precision measuring instrumentsBe able to interpret Engineering drawingsBe able to create and read programsWork independently, unsupervisedFile programs and new programs in a user-friendly formatReduce cycle times per operationOperating CNC machineClocking jigs, vices & tools on CNC machine work areaSorting, setting tools & holdersAbility to re-sharpen all kinds of cutting tool (drills, form etc)Perform necessary maintenance on equipmentSalary: R18 000.00 - R22 000.00 per month Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to ****** with "CNC Machine Tool Setter" in the subject line.
