Civil Engineer

Recruiting for a Civil / Structural Engineer in Cape Town.Provide specialist technical guidance and support on building infrastructure projects, maintenance and OHS related projects. The role also includes project managing, planning design and contract administration of the built environment for our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform complex civil engineering designsProject leader or Design EngineerCompile and review project / technical reports and data collectionFacilitate the procurement process for planned workAccountable for quality standards, legal and contractual aspects and stakeholder relations for the projectProficient in the use of civil engineering software, in particular Civil 3D, AutoCAD/ Revit, iDAS and project management software.Qualification and Experience:Postgraduate Degree (NQF8) Bachelor of Science in Engineering, BTech Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringMinimum 8 years' experience in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, of which 5 years is in managing large-scale projects in the same fieldProficient in the use of Civil Engineering software, in particular Civil 3D, AutoCAD/Revit and iDASAdvanced project management skillsLead teams on multi-disciplinary projectsOverall knowledge in all aspects of civil engineering, including bulk earthworks, roads, water, sewer, and stormwater design
