Chief Financial Officer, 5 year contract, East London 2024-06-05 - 2024-06-10 Contractor EL002755 Finance We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a 5-year contract role based in East London, Eastern Cape Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with Post Graduate qualification in Accounting / Finance10 years relevant experience in a similar role; 5 of which must have been in a senior management positionProfessional knowledge of entities accounting, financial and supply chain requirementsEffective and capable management of an accounting functionThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Financial management – development of budget and presentation thereof; management of financial and accounting systems; ensure report distribution; identify, manage & monitor financial risks; ensure sufficient internal controls exist; monitor entity cashflowSCM – Oversee supply chain processes; advise on procurement; compliance to PFMA / treasury regulations / GRAP etc; record meetings; chair the BACStakeholder management – ensure sound inter-governmental relations; ensure sound corporate governancePeople management – ensure effective & efficient organization structure is in place; ensure finance dept's structure is appropriately resourcedSalary: Market relatedTo apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to (email protected) If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful #J-18808-Ljbffr
