REQUIREMENTS: 10 Years' management experience in a similar/equivalent positionPost graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, LLB or related fieldPreferred Requirements: MBA or MBL or equivalentDUTIES: Strategic PlanningDeveloping and executing business strategies to achieve short, medium, and long-term strategic plans, goals, and company policies.Providing market insights and strategic advice relative to business development.Developing and implementing strategic business plans to improve cost-efficiency, driving organizational success in accordance with the company's vision.Formulating and implementing strategic operational plans and objectives of the business.Financial & Risk PlanningOversee and provide guidance on financial reporting and accounting, including records, for the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements as well as medium-term financial projections in line with applicable accounting rules and the company's accounting policies.Reviews financial information and adjusts operational budgets to promote profitability.To ensure accountability for the overall financial performance of the business and its growth relative to its operations.Implement measures to mitigate and control risks.Human Resource ManagementSupporting the company in the recruitment of the company's leadership team and key positions within the company's structure.Defining and documenting the primary responsibilities for the company's leadership team.Recommending compensation arrangements which ensure the recruitment of competent personnel for positions at all levels within the company.Manage staff using human resources policies, procedures, and practices including hiring, orientation, training, evaluations and/or performance reviews, discipline, when necessary, termination, and update and maintain current job descriptions for all staff within the company.Plan for future staffing requirements and determine the experience, skills, and personnel qualities needed to effectively deliver projects and services.Revises and/or formulates policies and procedures and promotes the implementation thereof.Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines/regulations are clearly communicated and adhered to by the managers and the employees concerned.Ensure that the operations of the company are in conformance with all established legislation and regulations.OperationsMonitors and evaluates the operations of the business to ensure a smooth, well-coordinated, and efficient workflow.Overseeing the overall company's business operations, financial performance, investments and ventures, maintenance and logistics, sales, marketing, and human capital.Providing leadership, guidance and delegating to the managers their roles and responsibilities for their Portfolio Hubs.Assessing, managing and resolving problematic developments and situations.Evaluates overall performance of the business by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.Evaluates regularly the efficiency and effectiveness of business procedures and processes relative to the company's objectives and implements improvements.Establish a positive and safe work environment in accordance with all relevant legislation.Stakeholder ManagementMaintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.Building and enhancing the company's business profile at events and special engagements.Manages relationships and agreements with external business partners/vendors.
