Group Financial Manager with cost and management accounting knowledge required to manage the financial department , and be responsible for all the cost and management accounting duties of the Group.
Duties include: Financial Management Manage the month end financial closure procedures for 3 Companies.
Prepare and analyse of the monthly figures, reviewing same with Head of Department Compile, accurate monthly management packs for the group.
Guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial information in the packs.
Review and sign off the Balance Sheet and Income Statement reconciliations.
Development, implement, and maintain the system of internal controls and procedures.
Manage effective and efficient accounting processes.
Manage a cross functional team in the Group to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial areas.
Manage the preparation of year end audit packs.
Review audit schedules and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
Assist in treasury management; Import payment preparations on Nedtreasury Import payment batches and respobsible or accuracy of banking information Preparing cashflows for each company Preparing weekly liquidity report Cost and Management Accounting Initiate, develop, improve the current cost accounting systems, practises and standards within the business.
Work closely with the sales and design teams and senior financial management team to establish customer pricing.
Responsible to assess fixed and variable costs to determine the company's total cost of manufacturing a product.
Manage gross margin analyses related to the company's products, inventory, and its overall value.
Calculate the costs of goods sold on the company's financial reports, which affects the company's bottom line.
Execute month-end cost accounting close.
Manage the accuracy of import costing.
Establish cycle counts and wall-to-wall physical inventory counts, investigating variances that arise.
Analysing Stock for ageing, stock turnover and accuracy of stock counts.
Analysing inventory valuations Update standard costs in the formulations (bill of materials) Analyse costing information and collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish customer pricing Support and assist in the production of financial forecasts and budgets Support for Operations management in analysis of Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Variance Analysis and Stock Control Supporting Sales management with analysis of pricing and profitability by customer, product, and other sectors Requirements: CA(SA) or CIMA/ BCom (Hons) Accounting plus articles.
3 years plus experience in a Financial Management position.
A thorough knowledge of auditing and control principles with a thorough understanding of completeness, accuracy, validity, and timeliness of transactions.
Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
Advanced excel skills – working with large data Acumatica System experience will be an advantage Ability to act professionally and in confidence at all times.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
