Job: CDM Principal DesignerLocation: LondonTerm: PermanentSalary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what you're looking for)Our client is an international and award-winning studio, looking to take on a CDM Principal Designer on a permanent basis, in the London area. You will have an important role in influencing how the risks to health and safety should be managed and incorporated into the wider management of projects.The CDM Principal Designer will ideally have the following attributes:A degree or background in construction or a related field.Experience with Microsoft Office.5 or more years' experience working in a similar position.Ability to work on projects from concepts through to construction.Strong leadership skills and ability to manage people.Excellent understanding of CDM 2015, UK building regulations, and fire safety.The CDM Principal Designer role will involve:Planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating health and safety in the pre-construction phase.Helping and advising the client in bringing together pre-construction information.Working with other designers on the project to eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks.Coordinating the work of others in the project team to ensure that significant and foreseeable risks are managed throughout the design process.If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
