Capital Markets Senior Manager Service Line: Assurance Sub Service Line: Professional Practice Group 1. Minimum Requirements for the Role: Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of Capital Markets experience. Skills Required: Independent self-starter. Attention to detail with an understanding of the bigger picture. Experience in both debt and equity transactions. Debt Transaction Experience: Commercial Paper issuances within the South African market. Listing of debt on international exchanges, including Euro Medium Term Programmes. Equity Transaction Experience: Listings on the JSE Limited. Category 1 acquisitions and/or disposals on the JSE Limited. Periodic reporting experience related to pro forma financial information as per the JSE Listings Requirements. Knowledge of the other three South African stock exchanges and their Listings Requirements. Comfort letter experience for debt and/or equity transactions. Qualifications Required: An honours degree in accounting. CA(SA) qualification is beneficial but not mandatory. Previous Industry Exposure: 4 years within both the debt and equity markets. Previous Consulting Experience: Not required. 2. Core Purpose and Responsibilities: Core Purpose: To support the Assurance business with JSE related matters and provide support within Africa. Important Responsibilities: Prioritization and management of work while maintaining quality across multiple engagements. Challenges and Problems to Solve: Balancing workload and quality control in a dynamic environment. Learning Opportunities: Development of new skills related to the JSE Listings Requirements, local and international debt listings, and comfort letter experience. 3. Preferred Previous Employment: Candidates should have experience working in an auditing firm. 4.
