Job Overview:
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and facilitating various business development activities in collaboration with the Industry Vice President of Sales. We're seeking an adaptable individual with a foundational understanding of B2B sales, exceptional coordination skills, and a proactive approach to driving sales initiatives.
Responsibilities: Manage initial inbound inquiries, effectively assessing and routing them to the appropriate channels within the sales team. Actively engage in outbound prospecting efforts, identifying and nurturing potential leads through strategic communication and relationship-building. Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to strategize and execute on business development plans, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives. Coordinate and track all stages of the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of prospects. Utilize CRM systems and other tools to maintain accurate and updated records of leads, interactions, and sales activities. Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals as needed to support sales efforts. Skills: Proven experience in a sales or business development role, particularly in a B2B environment. Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Highly organized with excellent time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.
